Charice Pempengco finally met Ms. Ellen Degeneres and performed in her show. Now she's back in the Philippines but will also go to Korea to attend guesting and perform in a Korean show.
Susan Roces, Kris Aquino and Judy Santamaria is leading the tv remake of the movie in 1974 and 1995 by Lorna Tolentino "Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara". This coming January 2008 it will be aired on the Sineserye Present: The Susan Roces Cinema COllection. Filipinos will surely be trilled with this horror tv series.
ABS-CBN filed a breach of contract against AGB Nielsen Media Research because of alledgedly anomalies in TV shows ratings, (not accurate/correct data) that AGB did not ensure the representativeness and data reliability at all times, (did not maintain confidentiality of household with metering panel) manipulation of the location of the panel household...would breach the integrity and confidentiality of the data and reports. According to a witness of ABS-CBN, another station is paying the household (that represents for the AGB Nielsen's survey) that are watching the ABS-CBN shows to switch to the other station's shows. GMA 7 gave a statement about this issue and deny that they were the station pointed by the witness of ABS-CBN.
GMA Network statement about the issue:
"Nababahala ang GMA Network sa ulat na rating nga mga TV program na galing sa AGB Nielsen ay maaring manipulahin. Ang totoong ratings ng mga TV program ay napakahalaga hindi lamang para sa mga TV station kundi maging sa mga advertiser, ad agency, at sa mga manonood. Sa loob ng higit apat na taon at hanggang ngayon, patuloy na nagrereklamo ang GMA Network sa AGB Nielsen tngkol sa hindi maipaliwanag na pagkakaiba ng mga ratings ng mga programa ng GMA sa cable at non-cable, na hindi naman nagyayari sa mga programa ng ABS-CBN. Lubos na ninanais ng GMA-7 na malaman ang katotohanan sa isyung ito, kung mayroon mang basehan ang mga nasabing ulat."
Charice Pempengco is already in Los Angeles, California to attend her guesting in Ellen Degeneres Show. Ms. Ellen called her and was invited a month ago after seeing her video in youtube singing Whitney Houston songs. Charice will be seen this 3rd week of December in Ellen Degenres Show on NBC.
