Britney Spears in minor traffic accident in L.A.
Reuters LOS ANGELES - Britney Spears triggered a minor accident on a freeway in Los Angeles' San Fernando Valley on Saturday evening, but no one was injured and no tickets issued, a California Highway Patrol official said.
The 26-year-old pop singer, whose career has been buried under an avalanche of personal and health problems, rear-ended a car in stop-and-go traffic after she failed to stop her Mercedes in time, said CHP Officer Patrick Kimball.
That car, in turn, pushed forward into another car, he said.
Spears is invariably trailed by a large posse of paparazzi while running her daily chores, but it was not immediately clear if overly aggressive photographers had anything to do with her latest mishap.
Charice on Oprah after The Paul O’Brady Show in London?
Fresh from a well-applauded guesting on The Paul O’Brady Show in London, Charice Pempengco is scheduled to appear on the self-titled TV show of Oprah Winfrey who has annoounced "to watch for these fantastics kids in May," one of them Charice. It’s Charice’s second guesting in a US TV show. The first was on Ellen DeGeneres’ eponymous show late last year.
